As I sit here the night before Thanksgiving writing about some of my favorite looks for the holiday, I realize that this is a time to reflect on all that we have to be grateful for and to give back to others. There is so much that I have to be grateful for this holiday season with having passed my last test to become a teacher, YAY!!!!!! Almost done with college, blessed with supportive parents and a loving boyfriend, along with my health. I couldn't ask for more this Thanksgiving. It seems that this fall has flown by; I blinked and it was Thanksgiving. I wanted to try to give back even though I had a limited amount of time. There are simple things you can do everyday to give back, such as donating old clothes, which is what I did last night. I want my goal to be this year to think of those in need as the holidays approach.

Today as we all sit down to eat lots of yummy food I thought I would share with you some of my favorite looks for Thanksgiving. I tried to include different styles depending on how you were spending your Thanksgiving. I usually spend mine eating with my family at my house then lounging in front of the tv all afternoon, so I choose to go with a more casual look. Take a glance at some of my favorite looks this Thanksgiving!

Dressed to Impress.

This is one of my favorite looks this fall. This burgundy wine color is all over the place. When I saw this skirt at Express, I new that I had to have it. I have paired it with a turtle neck tank top and over the knee boots. This outfit is classy with a little bit of sass. I would wear this if I was meeting family or going out to a nice dinner or church. I also love how well this lip color paired with the skirt, (I am wearing Kylie Cosmetics Ginger lip liner and Gorg matte lip!)

Casual Chic.

Plaid is a staple to have in the fall, and this shirt just so happens to be a mens. I bought this in the mens department and loved the colors in it and how bulky it is. Makes you feel comfy and cozy. I have paired it with a lacy white tank from Abercrombie and this booties from the Pinklily Boutique. I have received so many compliments on these tassel earrings that I purchased on Etsy. They are the perfect statement piece of jewelry. This is a casual, but adorable outfit that I would wear to look put together on Thanksgiving, but also relaxed and comfy for an afternoon of watching football.

Ready for the Outdoors.

This turned out to be one of the funnest looks for Thanksgiving. I am wearing a bright red long sleeve crop top from Forever 21 and light was jeans. I have Sorrel boots on with a black and white pom hat. This is perfect if your family will be spending time outside playing football or rolling around in the snow like Addison did! This is a look that will leave you ready to throw the ball around after dinner.

I hope that this post finds you all in good spirits and cheer this holiday season. I think that it is easy to forget what the holiday season is truly about, so remember to spread love and love yourself a little this time of year. You deserve it.

xoxo
