It's been a whirlwind since I met Matt (for the second time- he blew me off 4 years ago when we first met). This has been the best two months of my life. In a short time he has become my boyfriend and my bestfriend. I don't know what I'd do without him in my life. On Friday we celebrated two months officially dating. We decided early on that we would be celebrating the little things in our relationship. Some people may find it corny to celebrate 2 months dating, but for us it gives us a time to have fun and enjoy being with each other. We chose to celebrate our two months with a round of mini golf, dinner at Spaghetti Works, and end with a drink at a new rooftop bar. It was the perfect way to unwind with my man and have a fun night out.

Mini golf was a blast! Matt thought that it would be something fun for us to do and it was totally worth it. Matt definitely won. It was comical how many times I would hit it off the course. There were many laughs shared. I definitely recommend going out of your comfort zone to do something fun on a date, you won't regret it.

Spaghetti Works in downtown Des Moines is a must. I had never been before and was stuffed by the time we left. I started off with a Strawberry Daiquiri then chose to have penne pasta with meat sauce and melted cheese. We had an appetizer of cheese garlic bread. Needless to say we had tons of food that was delicious and amazing service.

We ended the night at a new rooftop bar in downtown Des Moines called The Republic. It was a relaxing atmosphere with sophisticated drinks. I would definitely recommend it if you are downtown. I am into a much more chill atmosphere than the normal bar scene.

Outfit details:

Tank top. I purchased this during the Abercrombie and Fitch sale. I love it and have been able to layer it and wear it so much already. I love the lace detail, it adds a flirty touch to the basic tank. Here is the cami I am wearing. It comes in many different colors and is perfect for layering this fall.

Jeans. I love these jeans. I bought them also during the Abercrombie and Fitch sale. I love how the hem is destroyed on these. These are also perfect if you are like me and can't wear jeans with holes in them to work. Here are the exact pair that I am wearing. They are currently BOGO, so get them while you can!

Sweater. It's beginning to feel like sweater weather. I bought this sweater at the Express Outlet store and have worn it so much. It goes with many different pieces and is perfect to layer and keep cozy this fall. This sweater is no longer online but here is a similar one.

Shoes. I bought these adorable peep toe booties at the Francesca Outlet store. I was so happy that they had my size. I love how they look, but it did take me awhile to break them in. I love wearing them now and will wear them a lot this fall. They no longer have my pair online, but I found this pair that is very similar.

I am so happy to have Matt in my life. We have the best of times together and make many memories. I hope that you have a special someone to spend time with as well.

xoxo
