Okay, it has seriously almost been a month since we left for Florida and I haven't had a post about the most amazing place on Earth, well atleast I think it is! This was by far the most amazing trip yet. This place never ceases to amaze me. We have been coming here every year since I was not even a year old yet. It is a part of me and is my home away from home. Getting off the plane and breathing in the salty air sends waves of relaxation down my spine. I can't think of a more perfect place to be. Being from a small town, when I go somewhere to relax I don't want to be crowded with people or noise from the city. New Smyrna is perfect for this in it is a small town that hasn't been over ridden with hotel chains (They got their first Marriott this year!). I love the small town feel that this place has, which allows me to unwind and forget about my worries. When visiting New Smyrna make sure to check out the tourist sights such as, Ponce de Leon Light House where you can climb all the way to the top or the board walk in Daytona, which is always a favorite of mine. For shopping we always make sure to stop by Flagler Avenue which is lined with unique boutiques on both sides of the street. I always find the most adorable pieces for my wardrobe that are one of a kind. Finally, New Smyrna is filled with local delicacies such as Black Beard's Inn and the Corkscrew which are seafood entrees that are to die for. New Smyrna is full of atmosphere where ever you go; Norwood's Treehouse Bar gives you the feel that you are in Swiss Family Robinson movie since it is literally a Treehouse. There are so many new and exciting things always popping up in New Smyrna, I can never seem to get enough. Sharing my little piece of paradise with you.

This was one of the most amazing trips everrrrr when my babe decided to surprise me on our final days at the beach. Flying all the way to Florida from Iowa was no small task. Sitting on the beach, I was completely shocked when he tapped me on the shoulder. This was one of the best surprises of all time and was a trip that I will never forget.
Some of my favorite swimsuits:

I am usually not a fan of one pieces, but I have to say this one has me sold. I love the many colors in it that are bright and remind me of Florida sun and the beach. This one was so flattering on my body shape that I had to wear it again and again! I purchased this swimsuit at Forever 21 for around $25. The one I am wearing here is sold out, but I am linking a similar one here that is currently on sale.

When I was surprised on the beach, can't you see how happy I was?! This swimsuit was also purchased from Forever 21 for approximately $28. You can find the bottoms here and the top here. This was one of my favorite swimsuits all season for the cute sleeve detail.
Going out outfits:

I purchased this outfit last year from SEI Swim which was a small boutique on Flagler Avenue. Sadly I saw that they had closed this year when we were there. I have gotten so many compliments on this two piece dress that is perfect for any occasion.

This was one of my favorite outfit on the trip. This romper came from one of my favorite stores Pinklily Boutique. I paired it with this pair of wedges that I purchased at Target right before we left. I love the color that they are as you can mix and match with many different outfits. This purse was bought at Michael Kors on one of our many shopping adventures. My earrings came from Francesca's. My romper is sold out, but this is a similar one.

I purchased this outfit last summer in New Smyrna at SEI Swim too. I love this outfit since it is a two piece and can be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion. Here I have it paired with gold wedges and my Michael Kors purse. These sunnies were purchased for only $14.99! I lose sunglasses so much, these were so worth it!
Travel wear:

It's always important to dress for cold weather and comfy when you are flying on a plane. I am always cold! I've paired a Nike tank with a pair of leggings (I bought at Target, but they are literally my favorite pair!), a green bomber jacket from American Eagle, and a pair of Adidas Originals hightops. This was comfy and casual as we traveled all day.
I hope that you are able to fall in love with this place as much as I have.
